Mission Statement
Due to the current political climate, we at Care in the World feel it is vital now, more than ever, to uplift those who have been societally oppressed in any way. After learning of and witnessing firsthand the atrocious treatment of many marginalized groups, we have decided that the time has come for us to take a stand. Instead of falling victim to the common phrase and mindset “without a care in the world” which idolizes selfish, ignorance-produced bliss, we have decided instead to inspire care in the world so that all can achieve the immeasurable happiness inscribed in this idiom. In order to become a truly progressive civilization, we must care for those around us in order to be globally minded, compassionate, and selfless.
Through blogging about a variety of topics regarding social justice, to voice our concerns and the concerns of those in our community, we will seek to inspire others to #careintheworld.
